Frazzled
A week of being out of town for work has left me scrambling to wash entirely too much laundry again. I think I've got about 10 loads, and they take longer than normal since everything has to go through the dryer twice to actually get dry. Also trying to get the house cleaned up and back into a "kids play wherever they want" state. The playroom has ( Read more... ) -

Yes, I am still around. Work is killing me at the moment and doesn't show signs of letting up for air until the end of January. Then I go right back under again. Whee. All things considered, it could be worse. I'm just tired. And bummed that this is yet another December where work has swamped me and taken over my evenings. I'd rather be baking ( Read more... ) -

The past couple of mornings, I have been reminded why I do not allow my children to sleep with me past the "cute and cuddly" stage. Last weekend we moved T into the toddler bed. It's been going amazingly. Some issues with naptime, but bedtime and sleeping all night have been going great. Right up until M1 left to go to Texas for a funeral. ( Read more... ) -

Surprise!
So for Labor Day, our church had a night at the ballpark, concert beforehand and staying for the game after. It was a lot of fun. A fantastic concert by our musicians and a great game afterwards. I feel like everything is changing with my boys these days. The seasons are changing, and the weather is cooling off into gorgeous days that make me want to just sit outside and absorb a sunbeam.
