I'll definitely be there! I ticked that I'm up for helping organise bags the night before - but I can bring food/give money towards it if required. I'm also up for donating something for the goodie bags/raffle, but I'm not sure what I could offer. I could bring something over from England? Knit a HP scarf or something? Neither of which are very H/D specific though.

Come to think of it, you may be just the person we need! We were thinking it would be cute to put some English candies in the goody bags. I am COMPLETELY blanking on what might work well, but if you have an idea of something (individually wrapped pieces) that can be thrown into all the bags, two or three bags of said candy would go a LONG way!

Hey-

I signed up to bring food and help with bags. I'm also making a paypal donation. I can bring something for the bags too if someone gives me a specific...I'm not the craftiest person in the world though. Last year I brought Hershey Bars.

I'm going to go home and look at my Potter stuff tonight.I possibly have a door prize or two to contribute. I'll get back to you guys on that.

We obviously won't turn it down if you bring something for the bags, but since you're doing so much else to help, you totally don't have to. If you can't get rid of the urge, though, candy is always popular and easy to transport :)

And I saw your comment about friendships bracelets and I can make really basic ones - like the top and bottom one in this link http://www.allaboutjewellerymaking.info/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/friendship_bracelets1.jpg - I could make some with Slytherin colours and some with Gryffindor colours. I could also potentially try to make some that say H/D and/or slash, but I've never tried that before so I almost don't want to promise anything just in case they look really bad...

I'm also bringing food, I'm just not 100% sure what yet.

So far I've made a Gryffindor one, a Slytherin one and a rainbow one. I tried putting words and letters but it flustered me a bit. If I can get out to the craft store to get more string, I'm going to try and make another rainbow one. Here's hoping!

I'd like to bring something for the goody bags too but I'm not sure what. I was thinking something British/Scottish since I'm travelling from Scotland. Let me know if you have anything in mind. :D

If that doesn't work out, though (as I'm assuming it might not)... something school-related might be fun! Since Hogwarts is supposed to be in Scotland, and whatnot. I can't really think of anything specific, but anything remotely British or Scottish would be exciting to have for the bags. Some erasers, or pencils, with Scottish sayings on them, maybe? Just an idea... might not be a very good one, haha.
