New dog...

This guy showed up in the back yard today while I was gone for 30 minutes to run to the store to get some ground turkey for me and some coffee filters for Mom. I dropped her filters by, and she said, "Who's that young dog over there playing with Ripley?"

What a *CUTIE* pie!!! Do you want a hook-up with some Boxer Rescue peeps in your area? They'll make sure he gets snipped and a good home. (my email is the same username as lj at gmail dot com)

Please keep us posted on your brindle boy's stay. :-)

That's the problem...I AM a Boxer Rescue peep! LOL I've felt awful since I'm not able to foster anymore due to being out of town so much, but help out in other areas and helped get our SWMO rescue started. The plan now is to get the ad run, and if no one claims him, he's mine...then I can legally turn him over to Rescue. He might continue to stay here providing things go okay; Rip and Sade stay at Mom's when I'm out of town because they're older and relatively sedate, but this guy is still punky. I'll have to board him out or have Jeremy come over and dogsit. The truth of the matter is, though, if he's here for over two weeks, he's staying...that's just how it works. ;)

Oh, and the doggie is ok too, lol. He looks like my Sebastian, 'cept Sebastian is fawn. It might be fun to have another to play with your boxer eh? Hope it works out the way you need it to.....and if you keep him chop chop.....no unwanted puppies :)

Yep, though Rip is getting to the age where he doesn't much care for roughhousing...but my dogs are very tolerant of other dogs, just a couple three days of some grumbling. He's very, VERY vocally whiney--his whine is so high pitched it almost sounds like a whistle. I don't know if that's his regular deal or if he's just out of sorts tonight; hope it's the latter.
