So, in Final Fantasy IV DS, when you go to the menu you can see the lead character's thoughts. Rosa has just been kidnapped, let's see what happens:

Yang: Rosa taken... and all of this for the sake of defending our kingdom!
Rydia: I hope they haven't done anything to Rosa.
Edward: I will not stand and watch Cecil lose Rosa as I lost Anna!

I loved, loved, loved in Fabul where Cecil's all "Kain...I wish you were here" and the Irony Cudgel is in the background making huge whanging noises on the anvil while it has itself a grand old time. That latter part's only in my head, though.

Hahaha, yeah, I laughed at that bit. Kain's thoughts are the best though, he's always on the lookout for a trap. Here in the Sealed Cave it's really quite sad.

Kain, on the other hand, is bothered by the numerous thoughts Cecil has concerning him. JUST BECAUSE HE'S A EMOY DRAGOON DOESN'T MEAN CECIL CAN BE A MOTHERHEN.

LOL, the internal character monologues are funny! I just started this, and I have to say I'm loving Cecil's angst. I find it hard at the beginning though! Not enough money and party members X_X

It's definitely very hard, I died a lot at the beginning and then blew all my money on potions.

Cecil's angst is just endearing me to him more and more.
