I can only imagine how difficult it must be to remain positive at times, and yet the one thing life has taught me is that somehow, we must. Cry when you need, rant and get it out of your system, and then try to reset yourself and let in as much love and resolve as you can, because it will help heal you in ways just as important as the doctors can.

Surely you have gone through hell, but at least God have gifted you with a joyous personality, wonderful talent, deep wisdom and caring friends. These things cannot be taken from you, and all will aid you as you fight the good fight.

And you will, and you will win. You will be stronger after this ordeal - maybe not physically, but in just about every other way. Hang in there and hold on to the humble smile that so many have come to know and love.

No kidding. You have a lot of friends who love and support you. Heck, I don't even know you that well, but I feel like I'm a better person for meeting you. We're all here for you.

And I'm serious about brownies. I would even drag foof up to frisco and buy a bunch of neutronium uberbrownies for you. Even if they didn't heal your bones outright, at least you'd be feeling a lot better after snarfing them.

Yep.

Well, SHIT!
Yeah, it's a set back and you have every right to be down about it. It's a serious issue, not a call the waaaaambulance that you stubbed your toe. I'm gonna focus on the fact that while there is a chance there may be permanent damage there is also a chance there won't be. If anyone can beat the odds, you can! It's more time to heal, but thanks to the grace of guardian Angels, good Dr's so far, your strong will and that awesome protective gear you had on, you have time.

Love you Richard, hang in there.
