Heyyy, so as I think I have mentioned a few times in the last couple of weeks, I have been super into shoujo manga for like, absolutely no reason whatsoever, so! Would I like Otomen? I admit to totally having a weakness for stories about gender. And for stories with big manly dudes who secretly cook and sew who love kickass dudes who would be uke elsewhere ladies. And for stories which include writers writing a story about the story. Meta, it is delicious!

So... quid tu penses, amica?

I think so! I think you are more sensitive to gender stuff than I am, so I have been wrong before, but besides how the manga focuses more on the two boys (who are fantastic), Ryo is really great in terms of just like. She is a little airheaded but it's because she is airheaded, not female. And! And!! Ugh Erika

our taste in shoujo is so similar it is scary. I've read all but two of these and the only reason I haven't finished them all is I hate ongoing scanlations.

Secretly I hate them, too, but sometimes a series is worth it! Also sometimes you buy all of Golden Days, read the ending, and cry your eyes out.
