A resident recently moved out and left a big box of silverware and cutlery. After most everyone pillaged the box i took about half a dozen paring-knives up to the roof so i could drop them off and see if they would stick in the ground. Not one of them stuck. I've gotten into the habit of taking my shoes off when I'm painting rooms. I leave my socks on and put my shoes in a drawer or somewhere protecting them from paint. The fact that most of the employees have to carry around 2-way radios at work, as I have said time and time again, is the worst part of this job. The Administrator, whom as I have also reiterated as a dunce, has the strangest of all radio etiquette. What she does is say the word "please" at the end of every statement or question. The new maintenance director started work this week. Before he started, several employees told me that he doesn't speak english. Turns out he does speak english. He's just Mexican is all. Today when I arrived at work a resident told me she saw a dead bird in the pool. when I went to check it out the bird was stuck in the pool skimmer(the little gate at the lip that sucks in leaves and junk).
