He said he missed me. He said he couldn't wait to see me. Seemed like he was as excited as I to be together again.
He came right over and after a brief hug he pushed me away and said he'd like to take a walk since it's such a nice night.

Passed by the past
I passed Linwood Elementary today and looked at it as if I were looking at Washington Open, remembering a memory that was so sweet it was almost childhood-like. It was a sweet memory of a light rain. I feel stupid for taking for granted the time I had left with my mom back when she could still be just that. I look at our family picture, taken when I was in 3rd grade, when she was still quite able to do things, like walk..with a little help from a cane.
