There's a lot of people getting upset and feelings being hurt and everything, and basically it all seems really bad for people's karma. I know that sounds really pretty much like granola hippie voodoo, but it's true. People should be more chill and possibly even nicer to each other, but that's obviously not going to happen, I guess, so whatever ( Read more... )

Yeah, it HAS to be a joke. Except half the songs don't necessarily make that clear and I've seen conservative newspapers and groups talking about supporting them just based on that Bush song.

So I think you might be right about it going really wrong. If nobody gets that you're not sincere, that you probably don't count as satire anymore.
