The main supplier at work is having a stocktake at the moment and, for the minute, our input has plummeted to almost nothing. Because of this, they've given us tomorrow off! No makeup time, no use of holiday, just a free day off!
Hopefully, there will at least be something to do on monday.

This week, Phillip "Daffy" DeFreitas lost his tag as the only active cricketer to have actually won, and not just retained, the Ashes. There's a good Pub Quiz question there somewhere.

I'm typing this downstairs, on the laptop, having just installed a wireless network. My wife says she is happy that she'll see more of me, but she has yet to realise that it just means she'll see more of me, not necessarily converse more :D

So, I'm reading "Prince of Dogs", by Kate Elliot. It's the second in a series of I'm not sure how many, and I'm coming to the end of this one and I'm beginning to realise that I'm not actually, when you get right down to it, enjoying it much. I don't think I'll bother with the next one.

So, Jane went off to the doctors to have blood tests done. I'm told this happens a lot when you're pregnant, but it's not something that Jane particularly likes - she doesn't like needles.
