O my, despite having had excellent care the past 9 months and living 10 mins walking at slow, pregnant, pace from a good hospital, i am a bit worried about the actual birth and its aftermath. Among my schemes for leaving my deskjob to do something radically different is growing aloe on the rocky ground on Croatian islands. Yesterday i saw aloe 'leaves' on sale in the supermarket for some 1.75euro a piece.

Elderflower mania
It's summer in the Netherlands - its so hot i was reluctant to leave the airconditioned supermarket yesterday to walk into the heat of the city. Spring was cold and only a few weeks ago the weather turned nice enough to do away with the wintercoats. Elderflowers everywhere blossomed, I just now uploaded the pics from the camera to my computer.
