I went to see Star Trek one more time. I think this made 8. It was still at a theater near me and it's a long 3 and 1/2 months until the DVD release on Nov. 17.

Still love it.

I have tickets to a midnight showing of Harry Potter!!! And I'm therefore taking tomorrow off work! :>

Finally saw a movie other than Star Trek (still at 7) in the theater. Thanks to a couple late nights at work this week, I left at noon today and saw The Proposal (Sandra Bullock). It was very funny. A lot of comedy goes way over the top these days or tries to be too smart or is too gross. This was none of those. A few scenes here or there ( Read more... )

Well damn. I'm only about 2 yrs too late, but I finally am watching Season 2. I just finished episodes 5-8. And I have to say that I HATE that they killed Shannon. Don't get me wrong. It has been effective IMO. Well done. Both her episode, Abandoned, and the 2 that followed re: the tail section group and the aftermath of Ana Lucia killing her ( Read more... )

Am I the only one who doesn't give a $h!t about the Emmy's? Of course, there are only like 3 tv shows I watch anyway.
