There's an experiment that can be conducted, to do with game theory, involving two participants. One is offered an arbitrary amount of money, and must decide how much of it to offer to the second participant. This is quite interesting. A documentary on the famous Stanford Prison Experiment has been posted on YouTube. It's about an hour long and well worth a watch.

Economist Steven Levitt presents a lecture on the inner workings of inner city gangs during the height of the crack cocaine epidemic. His co-author infiltrated a Chicago gang (very Hunter S. Thompson) and managed, among other things, to look at their accounts, organizational structure and death rates. Definitely worth a watch.

Alright, these chemists had WAY too much time on their hands.
In the paper they describe the synthesis of a 2nm tall anthropomorphic molecule they name NanoKid.
