Harpers' cover story is all about Ohio's issues in the last presidential election and the mainstream media's aversion to talking about it. Well written article and though I was familiar with some of the inconsistencies, this piece taught me a thing or two. It's great to see a fairly reputable source talking about this whole mess.

Ren refuses to talk to the lady who gives out cookies at the grocery because he says he's too shy, but when we are hiking in the woods and sees an old man with swords (he was with a group) he can't STOP talking to him. Yesterday morning Eli woke up at 6:15. I was all grumpy and sleepy and as I reached for his arm to help him down the stairs and I fell. Ouch. Does anyone remember the movie "The Thing Called Love" ? It was one of River Pheonix's last movies and I watched it obsessively when I was younger.
