King Kong

Well, the wife and I went to see the remake of King Kong this evening. Hopefully my butt will recover. I don't know if Peter is capable of making a film under 3 hours any longer. :o) Anyway, in a nutshell, I quite enjoyed the film. I mean, it wasn't without its flaws, but then what isn't?

After some reflection (and speaking with you), I have to agree that it was a very good movie. As you mentioned, expectations were probably too high for some, and I believe that was my problem. Peter did a fabulous job in conveying Naomi and Kong's relationship and well, damn, the special effects were beyond amazing.

I still agree that it would be torture for Peter to make any movie shorter than 3 hours, lol!
