I just clicked to join. I think it's crazy that they aren't letting dykes in even though they have Ani Difranco's Righteous Babe symbol in their user icon. How much more hypocritical can they be??

p.s. Even if they do let me in (which I doubt), I'm just gonna leave their prejudiced asses anyway ... lol!

Actually I think the denial of applications has something to do with the recent rule change debacle (over 1000 comments). If you're really interested in joining maybe you should try again later. Although I don't know why anyone would want to join feminist anyway.

I was denied from feminist_rage and feminist_snark, so I didnt even bother with feminist.

I just looked (and looked and looked and looked) at the info/guidelines. It's exhausting, all those rules. I can't see why they denied you, other than there are already too damn many of them. More than 3000 members? Jeez. Anyway, they look like the kind of uptight feminists that give feminists a bad name. Fuck 'em. Or, not.

oh, it's just as well -- it does look super irritating & i have heard that they are super uptights...it's just interesting that people who list 'queer' as an interest are being denied right and left....

i'm sure my user interests scared them off anyway!
