Ramblings of a Murine Soul

Apr 27, 2006 11:20

The longer I stray from LJ, the more tempted I am upon returning to write that This Is What I Really Think post. You know, the one where I finally say, “If I see Mediocre Story X rec’ced one more time I’m going to gouge out my own eyes and use ‘em as marbles,” and, in the great tradition of Flannery O’Connor, “X might’ve been a good woman if there ( Read more... )

Smallville, as always, is my show, the show, the one true show of shows, the vibratorial spectacle that always leaves me flushed and nicotine-needy. I’m still not buying the Lex-Lana thing because that girl’s pure brainless catalyst, the stone in the pond, but then there’s no accounting for taste, right?

You make me so happy. I wish you posted every day.

The only reason I don't mind Lexana is because I want Lex to get some and if it's Lana then it's still all about Clark. Which it is. Obviously.

Posting is hard work--at least thinking about it. Heh. Once I'm writing, though, it's the sweetest thing evah, kind of like Lex's attraction to Clark. As for the Lex/Lana business, hey, thank God for Freud so we'd have the right language to read it. *smirks*

You knew, and you withheld this valuable info from me???? Whore!

Hee! Okay, I'm joking, but if you only knew how mental I've been about the apparent "lack" in the language...

...damn, why didn't I check if Canada's being governed by an idiot Conservative before deciding to do a year there? I though you all are supposed to be cool! So much for truthful advertising!

Hey, we're still cool, babe! Don't be fooled by that soulless moron in Ottawa--we're still on the right (or should that be left?) side of the law. *g*

And he's just one blowhard in Ottawa, so he can't uncool all of Canada, or at least he can't uncool the fair people of Toronto (which would be where I'm heading. other places can be as uncool as Lana for all I care ;), right?

Hee! Toronto is fun, but uber-cool is Vancouver or Montreal. *she said, completely biased and loving it*

You should post more often, because I miss you.

I often daydream about Places I Should live - exotic pieds a terre in foreign cities, farmhouses in ancient agricultural desmesnes, sophisticated townhouses in the close-in suburbs. Why can't I win the lottery?

Also, why must you post just before I leave for the airport?! Ah, but a weekend with friends shall be good. I hope yours is as well.

Hiya, sweets! I occasionally buy lottery tickets just so I have an official excuse to dream about Homes I Should Own, and Places I Should Live--it's one of my favorite secret pastimes! *hugs*

Me too! Except I don't buy the ticket, I just daydream about buying the ticket.

Somehow having the ticket makes it even sweeter, in that irrational, hopeful kind of way. *g*

I’d have a harem for sexual satisfaction and light housework.

If only I'd been smarter in my youth and gave potential lovers an application with Question #2 being: "Do you dust?"

My life would have been so much ... tidier.

Hee! I would've asked, "Do you know what that big white machine with the spinny thing in the centre is?" Because life would just be easier, ya know?
