The story I submitted was accepted for publication! Well, to be precise, it was accepted to the website section of their magazine which won't be in print, but it was still accepted and will be displayed online. Having a fair bit of writers' block lately. Haven't been able to do, well, ANY creative writing since I've been here. So, in an attempt to get my writing mojo back, I'm writing one 100-word story every day. It's not much, I know, but it helps keep that creative spark in me alive. Plus, 100-words isn't that daunting. So, I just got back from a 4-hour jujitsu clinic. It was the last big martial arts event of the year for our dojo before sensei goes away. I am in pain ... My neck is covered in bruises from chokes, and I pulled a muscle in my left leg so I'm walking around all gimpy. Totally intense and completely exhausting. With much of the school crunch-time overwith, I'm able to keep a more regular work schedule, which is nice for a change. Just one big paper, and I'm done my coursework. I am sick. Like, really terribly ill with the flu. It's awful, and the work from school doesn't stop :(

I'm going to stay home tomorrow and do my work here. Hopefully that'll help.

Animaritime was awesome, but I'm too exhausted from the work/sick combination to cogently update about it.
