I didn't really have the internet all that much growing up either ... had it a little bit during the last year or two of High School.
Now I can't even imagine life without it. I am always checking Facebook on my phone, checking my email on my phone, Googling stuff and using Wikepedia etc. Tripadvisor for planning trips and other sites to check out flights and sights and whatnot.
It's hard to imagine what we used to do before we had it.

since i've moved out of my parent's house (almost 3 years) i haven't suscribe to any internet deals--heck i don't even bum off from my neighbors...so far so good. like you say if you need the internet i can just go to work, my parent's house, cc's coffee or S house.
now w/ my iphone, which i got only 5 months ago, i can get email on it and that's really about all i need. Due to not having internet, i actually read a lot more:)

oh btw, can you give me a call to let me know what i can do around San Francisco? thanks!

I believe things will change yet again with the coming smartphone revolution. Ever since I got my Android phone, I'm looking up more things online through my phone, and checking email/etc. So as the internet has changed our home life, the mobile internet device will change our on-the-go life

when i don't have my computer on, i lose my sense of time and enjoy life a lil more. but i always have this nagging feeling that maybe someone is trying to contact me about some emergency and they can't get to me.

will we be seeing you at Selina's wedding?
