I would actually argue that the transition from Anakin to Vader was ultimately dude wicked cool, and while ep III was not exactly, you know, good, it was still satisfying in that it wasn't worse than the other ones. (Episode I hack cough die)

The movies ALL suck. Empire marginally less, mostly due to Ms. Brackett's contributions, but it doesn't keep the whole enterprise from being self-indulgent, pretentioius, derivative garbage that corrupted Mr. Campbell's brilliant ideas. And there's NO truth to the rumor that I just talk crap about Lucas because I thought I deserved a co-creator credit.
