why don't any of my "friends" out here call me?? called and left messages for folks yesterday and i haven't heard boo from anyone. i have 2 more days and nothing to do. i like spending the time with my folks, it just makes me sad that the few friends i have left out here won't give a girl a call when she's only around twice a year. *sigh*

i imagine their busy...i left voicemails...though we drove past Yentl's house last night and the lights were on...cars in the driveway...oh well...just ready to get home

how was my bubba-head??

Bubba-head was good. I scared the crap out of her two nights ago. I closed the storm door, left the main door open, and walked into the kitchen to feed her. When I turned around, I saw her tail disappear behind the main door and, having forgotten that the storm door was closed, I thought she had run outside so I screamed out "NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!" and she came running back into the house. I apologized for yelling at her but when I tried to pet her again, she batted my hand. She got over it by the next day, though, because she let me pet her and even purred, too. So all is well in Bubba-head land!
