I think you are just seeing sims everywhere because you have them on the brain.

They just look like Rock Band Avitars to me.

that is quite possible. They may lok like Rock band avatars, but I don't paly enough (read at all) to know. Though they look a little plain, compared to some of the characters my friends have created... Will you be able to personalize them? Like chance their clothes, or are you always playing a different beetle?

it looks like you are always playing as the beetals, but they change (drastically from what I hear).

So if you are on the ed sullivan show, they are in suits, if you are doing "I am the walrus" then you are in the magical mystery tour outfits, etc.

From the Wiki page, it looks like Natal just the next generation of eye toy. We're just gonna have to see how big an advancement it is, but either way its pretty much the next gen eye toy.

it isnt so much what it is, as much as what they are promising to do with it. If you get a chance check out the videos, or if you don't come over and I will show them to you.

no, just watching the live stream and keeping up with the news as it comes.

The idea of the Natal thing sounds interesting, but sort of disconcerting.. not having a controler and all. I find it exciting because it's a few steps closer to VR which is nifty in my book. The article I read talked about a program/game with a little boy who you could talk with, recognized colors and followed you with his eyes .. reminds me a bit of Fahrenheit 451...

that is Mylo. It was sort of the big SHOWPIECE of Natal. It was really what blew people away because it is being pushed as basically a AI character that you FULLY interact with.

Meaning that you can say WHATVER YOU WANT and it will respond appropriately.

These are lofty promises, and... well you know the rest.
