Greetings from White Salmon, WA! Mom and I drove up through Klamath Falls, Crater Lake, and the middle of nowhere (like half of Oregon and California are scrub). Placeholder photo below....yes, the water is really that blue.

Breathtaking. The most amazing colored lakes I've seen in Croatia so far, but while it was as intense in color it was more leaning towards green than blue.

Oh wow, that is gorgeous. Makes me want to tromp off to somewhere like the Mediterranean or the Dalmatian coast.

And is it bad that straight after that my second thought was 'Crater Lake? Watch out for the levitating stone buildings and strange elves'? *Hangs head in shame*
