I need a job!

I just applied for jobs at 3 districts near by. Oh god, please hope something sticks! I have spent hours filling out apps. If you are not a teacher, then you may not know the hoops we jump to get an interview, but it's extensive. At best, 15 mins, the worst - hours...
Some of these were brutal today, but at least I am done!

I have my fingers crossed for you. I'm going through the exact same thing...even with ALL the info they ask saved to my desktop and readily available, I just did an application that took over an hour. Damn people!!!

I have come to the conclusion I like the old way. Let me just put all of this crap in the mail and be done. The essays, personality profiles, INTASC thingy...I mean some of this districts couldn't find more shit to add to an application!

My favorite is when applying for a job (retail mostly) and they ask for your credit background. Why the hell do you need to know that I have an addiction to black socks? Really???

And yet there is only two questions in this state concerning imprisonment. I would rather have a bad personality than have a potential killer working at the school!
