I'm confused by this recall. We had one of these when the boys were little, and it had written ALL OVER IT not to leave the baby unattended. wtf?

I find most recalls to be confusing like that. For example, that Bumbo (baby seat) thing was recalled, but now I see it's on the market. I guess a few babies tipped over in it. I sort of thought that was obvious that would happen by design. It's only a chair.
This recall I am really happy about...I bought this thing when he was 9 months and have never used it once! I can't wait to get money back!! Woot-woot!
(and here I was about to sell or give it away)
