My 38th birthday was yesterday. Now frankly... the whole "birthday" business jumps the shark around 37 or so. I'm now officially in my "late 30's", what's there to get excited about? It's not like I'm depressed about it or anything, I just wasn't feeling the whole thing. Dave got me flowers and that was nice and all... but I got my one present

iPhone 4S. I was wary for a long time because I like my phone to actually make and receive calls first and foremost, but now that they've opened up beyond AT&T that seems to be working better.

Heh, it's circus. Hanging upside down will do that to ya. I routinely peg other circus people at 5-10 years younger than they really are.

I have to admit I haven't really seen the point of birthdays since my 18th (age of majority for everything here) and tend to forget that other people may feel differently. ;-) I did have a fantastic party on my 25th, but I could've counted my presents with the fingers of one hand despite having had something like 40 people in a two bedroom flat so I guess my guests weren't too hung up on birthdays, either. Good party, though.

That's awesome! I wish Aislyn was like that, on my birthday she told me I was lying and it was her birthday, when she finally acknowledged my birthday she asked if my Mom friends were going to make me a cake and when I told her no she asked why my friends didn't like me =/
