Oops!
Knowingly, I didn't update anything the past few days. More like a lot of days. I fell off the wagon and did eat large portions over the weekend with friends to a drum corps show.
I've also been under the weather from a bronchial infection, cough, phlegm and sinus crap!
Today, I took a walk for about 20-30 minutes.

Ehhhh not so good
Had a decent breakfast with cereal and muffin. Vitamins and Orange juice. Lunch was out of habit of course, macaroni and cheese with strawberry cobbler and whip cream. I think the lunch was too much and too soon.I ate a sandwich prior to leaving for dinner with friends at 800 Degrees Pizza. I had a full-plate pizza with lemonade to drink.Went ( Read more... ) -

An Attempt To Change
In an attempt to change my eating habits, I'm going to journal it.
Hopefully it works.
I ate a very light lunch (got up too late to eat breakfast) which was a turkey/mayo sandwich on these flat pieces of bread and a pudding cup. I was really hungry by 3:30-4 then had some crackers and snacked on a few items in the fridge. Probably shouldn't have done ( Read more... ) -

Maybe it won't be such a turmoil of inner thoughts if I write it out.
Honestly, a few years ago, this would have been agony. But somehow at the end of it all, I feel okay and no regrets. I can honestly say I do my job the best I can and can still do it better without regrets to anything.

I come back to this tradition to read what all has happened and have always come to the conclusion that I hardly post, reflect on the past year/s leading up to a reflection for a year. Life is always a big damn hurry. Break like this slow me down and then I get restless and ready to go back to work. So off we go...

I did it
I told her what I wanted to do. Realizing as I was fumbling to get the words out (yeah, its still hard to do) that she wanted something else for herself. She needs to sort herself out and the job status. She's saying what I want to hear but I want to know more. Over-analyzing again, but I can't help it. Do I miss someone right now. Really close to saying something but is it the right time? God, I sound like a high schooler.
Oh well.
It's been a nice summer so far.
Camp starts in two weeks. Still enjoying the time off here with friends, family, good times and drum corps. Typical summer for me.
Trying to do some new things too at the same time.

It's amazing
....how a mood can change so quickly from any glance, voice, word, text, e-mail, etc. etc.
This is a venting post.
