Great, Good, Bad
A great book is a homing device
For navigating paradise.
A good book somehow makes you care
About the comfort of a chair.
A bad book owes to many trees
A forest of apologies.

Randomly Happy
I saw gasoline for $1.95 today and I almost wept for joy (ok, maybe a little frustration-it was $2.19 when I filled up last night).
In other news, I had a wonderful time on my vacation. There will be a separate post, with pictures, about that in the next day or so. -
Out of Touch
I've been away from home for the past week, house-sitting for a co-worker. It was very nice to have a place all to my self and to be so close to work (5 miles versus the 42 I normally drive each way). Electricity
We have now had electricity for a solid 24 hours after being without for ten days. YIPPEE!!!!!! Unfortunately three of my co-workers are still in the dark. The latest estimate for power restoration for them is this Sunday ( Read more... ) -
Quick Note
Just a quick note to say that I did survive the hurricane. Still no power or internet at home. The internet came up here at work about an hour ago. I'll write up a longer post about the whole ordeal tomorrow or the next day.
