I need some friends out here, badly.

I have an appointment to talk to a counselor in a couple weeks. Hopefully a few sessions will help pull me out of this shit. And to think, a few years ago I would've never guessed I'd be at FSU, single, lonely, and going to a shrink. Fantastic.

I'm trying to make peace with the fact that Chris and I are over. It really sucks. But, I'm a firm believer in the "things happen for a reason" mentality. I'm ok today. ...today. Chris and I are going to Colorado on Wednesday. Thank God, I need a vacation. So far, the plan is to get up super-ass-early and drive to Birmingham to his great aunt and uncle's house. Had to get up at 5am today and take my mom to the airport. She'll be in Smithville, TX (just outside of Austin) visiting friends til Sunday night.
