Cheese-in-a-can spread over beef jerky.

You make me despair.

You should try it. It takes, like, two seconds to make tops.

And it's very filling.

You can't even call what comes in the can 'cheese'. There is no cheese like substance involved.

As for the beef jerky, are we talking homemade? That way you can control the amount of sodium and other preservatives.

Gumbo, jambalaya, and sushi.

A common seafood theme, I like it.

I was born and raised in New Orleans. You get a lot of seafood there.

Fresh seafood as well. It's always best to work with fresh ingredients.

I will admit that my jambalaya is only fair to middling but I do feel that I've mastered the art of the rue for a most excellent gumbo.

Nigiri, Maki, Chirashi, Oshi, chakin-zushi, fukusa-sushi, inari-sushi or Sashimi?

Nigiri and inari, but I'm not real picky when it comes to food.

You should be, at least with sushi.

What kind of fish can usually be found fresh here in the City?

Just by itself or in a cake?

Either/or.

I usually like to use it as a filling, rather than an actual covering. I feel the flavor is richer.

Mostly I've played around with smaller, individual cakes.

Oh my glory!

I think that would definitely fall under the category of stick to your ribs comfort food.

Oh, Aye! That it is! Scotland's famous for it!

Normally it would be against my code of ethics as a nurse to offer to feed something so artery clogging to someone.

However, since this is about the comfort food of home, I would be more than willing to give it a try for you, if you wish?
