OKAY, I know this is sort of insane but bear with me. TOTALLY FINE with him callling Rex JGL and making references to things to him (even Mysterious Skin refs) BUUUUUT I'd rather keep Neil as far from 4th walling as I can (actually I need to check my 4th wall perms for him).

I figure Sam and West would be beneath his radar, but don't mind John Simm/Chris Eccleston references if it's really necessary (or funny).

Totally understand about Neil ^_^ I'll have him keep his distance. He might, if he talks to him, have a moment of "Didn't I just --? Nevermind. Get the fuck out of my face." and leave it at that.

YUP, that's totally fine by me. Don't mind him recognizing Neil, just so long as Neil himself isn't canon punctured directly.

I'm totally fine with Zachary Quinto, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Matt Bomer references (Sylar, Donnie Darko, Neal Caffrey). I would prefer Sylar & Neal not be told they were in Heroes/White Collar (so you can mistake Sylar for Spock or tell him he did a great job in So Notorious, but please don't talk to him about his role in Heroes if that makes sense?). Please check Sylar's 4th wall [or just talk to me] for the trickier stuff.

I encourage Leonardo DiCaprio references (Costigan) and you're free to tell him he was in a movie and everything; he'll think it was based on his life rather than it was his life (please don't discourage that mindset).

I'd prefer he not recognize Hayley, please. He can talk about Ellen Page separately and reference all her other films and such, but I'd just prefer he not connect that to Hayley. ♥

I always say mine can be recognised! Rayne's already been told she's from a computer game (but has no idea several bad movies with two different actors had been based on them), but Aleera/Atia would probably just meet it with confusion and not understand. :)
