Psychiatry never ceases to make me laugh. Today we got to go to court and it was better than watching tv. When the patient walked out of the room the judge, lawyers, doctor, and med students all broke out in laughter. And the patient now gets much needed medication. I got a lot accomplished today but now I'm lazy and just want to sit on my butt. I cleaned the whole apartment, including the bathrooms. I downloaded some stuff about Orienteering and I'm thinking of trying it tomorrow afternoon just for the heck of it.

For the past three years I've been a former Christian/athiest/diest/non-practicing spiritual person or something. I didn't go to church. Today I decided that it was a good time to start going back. it's been a while, so I'll just give a general update of the last 2-3 months. I broke up with Dave and kicked him out. I got sick and had to spend 3 weeks on and off in the hospital and had a seizure and I'm still not supposed to drive. I'm in psychiatry right now and everyone is crazy. That's the quick and dirty. Hope everybody's doing well.

today i delivered a baby. it was a girl, 8 pounds and 2 ounces. it was weird seing a person come out of a person, especially when it was half way out.

So I live in grand rapids now. Things have been... a little busy. I'm in the hospital now and seeing real live patients. I'm in orientation right now, and it's pretty darn boring. They're teaching us how to use the internet. Obviously I know how. I can't wait until the weekend.

Well, we're finally moved in. The furniture is where we want it, the boxes are empty and stored, and I can finally find things in the kitchen. The internet is on (as you can tell) and things are going well. Claire comes over every day and hangs out, and we have 200 channels of cable. I never realized how cool cable is.
