And if by "trying to sound smart" you mean that I am trying to coherently express a complicated opinion, yes I was, but I don't really see what's wrong with that. If I hadn't been trying to sound smart, my post would have probably read "man radiohead sux. their so overrated." But then you couldn't have pegged me as a pretentious elitist, so why are you complaining? And the fact that there are people who have not listened to anything but Hail to the Thief should not keep me from being allowed to back up my argument. Besides, if you're only interested in what's happening in the music scene now, don't listen to Radiohead, listen to a band that hasn't been milking a stagnant formula of soulless obscurity since 1997 ( ... )
