i love the beach in the winter time. it's so calm and lightly colored. the endless ocean mingles with the sky, the gulls hovering about each other with hoarse screams, one moment flapping on the foam of a wave, and then soaring aloft till their white bodies melt in the sun.

this one time when I was little, my class took a field trip to river walk. everyone was playing in the playground, and I ended up sitting on a bench petting the pigeons. I thought they were the sweetest things in the world. I showed my teacher that on of them landed on my hand. She made me wash my hands and told my mom. She said they had lice or some shit. Mother fucking cunt, those pigeons were cool.
