Whatever made him do it, it wasn't something he minded others knowing about-or he wouldn't have left the photo on his pillow. I like that he went out the way he wanted, and the very vagueness of why adds greatly to the power..."ambiguous", indeed.

It probbaly won't surprise you to know that I spent a good while mulling over what I should call this particular story.

Tony is a very complex character and I hope I managed to capture that admist all the mundane routine. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for the review.

So, I read this fic this morning before work - just something quick before the day began. It made me feel some kind of way. I thought about it on and off all day and re-read it a few times since the day ended and I still don't know. It's simple and it's beautiful. And I don't know if I should feel that way considering the ending but it had an impact on me and it's been a while since I've thought this much about a story. Really well done.

Sorry I'm replying to this so late. To address the comment: I'm glad that the story touched you so deeply and you thought it beautiful. Sorry it was so depresing though. I really don't know what my muse was up to when I wrote this!
