Took the day off from the archives and city transport to recuperate a bit from smog and just hours worth of reading dusty documents. It's been a blast, but my head couldn't quite take anymore, so I had to have a little break. I have a desk!!!!  I moved to LA around September 10th, and until last night/this morning around 2am it was sitting on the floor.  Now I have a cool dude desk and will soon get a TV and a quilt to cover my bed.  You would think I would have done these things before, but there's nothing like delayed gratification ( Read more... )

I'm in Los Angeles and feel like on of the luckiest people in the world right now. I have tons of work to do, but I can do it with French windows open and the breeze coming in with a bright blue sky and fresh air since it rained last night. Who just got to go to one of the biggest upsets of the season? Oh yeah, me. Hell yeah!!!! UCLA just beat USC at the Rose Bowl and I and about 90,000 people got to witness it. Life it sweet.

I'm growing my hair out to donate to locks for love again. I did this, along with Erin and Cheryl in 2003. My hair has been growing back since 2003. It's been over three years of hair growth and my hair has not grown back to a length where I can donate it yet.
