I mean how they PRETEND sometimes. My dad does this, he and I are a lot alike and we always know what each other is saying and even thinking. But he hates me so he'll pretend he's deceiving me while staring into my EYES and talking to me... lieing. It hurts me and I go into wondering why people can't just be honset with each other. REAL. You know? Real as in honest, original when they are in public, not pretending, not pulling out their cellphones to show the world how popular they are and how "needed" they are to others... real as in trusting, and able to be trusted.
I don't think most people know what "real" is. But whatever you believe is true for you. That is what is real to you. People should find their own beliefs.
real people use logic, reason and (un)common-sense.
everyone else does everything else.
people are notoriously easy to program, sadly most people have been programmed for their job, or school and little else, permanently, and are for the most part, socially useless.
masks breed masks until people have forgotten who they are.
as you well know, i find it hard to be real myself, and the truth is i'm like... the king of real-beingness. but it's a struggle, you find yourself faking it all for the world, hiding the best bits of you, afraid to let the weak spots show, afraid to let people see how much you care and in what way.
armor. shields. greaves.
the nephilum toffed out in full mail, waiting for david's little stone of truth to lay it all low.
sigh. truth. what is it?
sigh. real? what is it?
that's the search. that's the search.
why can't people be real?
lack of bravery. pure and simple. lack of bravery. that is *THE* bottom line. lack of bravery.

P.S.: I'm a real person. I'd hope anyway- I'm just not fully functioning when I'm sleep deprived (is anyone?).

when faced with unreality, we become unreality. masks.
we MIRROR what we're given in our own artistic way.
if the WORLD were to be REAL, we would.
but the world is NOT real. it is FAKE.
so we find ourselves lead towards fakeness and masks.
And it is a struggle, artistic in sensibility, to find the "character" we ARE, who is NOT a mask, and BE it.
mistakes are often made.
but there is no sin. only real and unreal. truth and mask.
and in the end, Revelation for all.
in the END we are forced to be Real, but that time is not yet come...
