i just received my first student loan bill. i feel so- 20s. i owe $155.73. at my current wage, that's just over 22 hours of work. for those of you counting.

oh, and my foot is broken.

but i've started reading "everything is illuminated," and have subsequently fallen in love with the first chapter, so i think everything is going to be ok.

Oh, I'm reading that book for a class very soon, shortly after the break (though I may start it before then). Everyone has been telling me how magnificent it is, so I'm really looking forward to it.

It's for my Holocaust Lit class. It's the last book on the curriculum, so I'll be reading it this weekend. Can't wait!

So I just finished the book ... whoa! That was totally amazing! I really loved it. I ignored so much other homework to finish that book, and despite the end of year crunch, I daresay it was worth it.
