Well after a full day of airports, and planes. I made it to alaska at around 840 pm alaska time. The landing at the airport was a little hairy. The pilot informed us while in the air that conditions were getting bad and the bethel airport was putting sand all on the runway, and it was snowing pretty hard. after circling for about 30 min the pilot ( Read more... )

what the heck are you doing in Alaska?! relocated for your job?

I went there for 3 weeks when i was in 6th grade and it was during the light season -- so bizarre! gorgeous state though.

I am doing the travel nurse thing. I will be here for three months. It was -13 last night.
