My coworker is a chauvanist and a homophobe. I refuse to let comments of either nature slide. So yesterday when he said men should be the head of a household, period, I said no, that is a decision each couple has to make for themselves. Well, this sucks.
I have been on a steady diet of painkillers since Saturday afternoon. It's nice that tylenol helps with both aches and fever, but, as anyone who has ever taken tylenol for an extended period of time can tell you, there are other side effects to worry about. I just cited Deuteronomy to my homophobic, so-called "Christian" co-worker and got a blank look. Guy's never even read the bible. And so he gets schooled my an agnostic with heathen leanings who read a comic book version of the bible when she was in grade school. Love it when people try to justify their hatred on third-hand information.

just had an hour-long discussion where I attempted to explain to my two christian co-workers that homosexuality is neither wrong nor expressly forbidden by the new testament. And also should fal in the category of old testament stuff that no longer applies. -
