i poured an insane amount of orange tempera paint down a student's leg. about mid thigh to ankle. the jeans were a present from her aunt. most of it came out and hopefully the rest will come out in the wash. i owe her a milky way on friday.
my coordinating teacher also got orange paint in her eye. it was a hectic morning.

driving back tonight the sky was a death-shroud violet-grey. then i passed M-6 & the sky lit up like armageddon. there weren't any street lights but the haze and snow spread the light pollution into a false dawn. the sky turned coppery and watery, like i was driving through an aquarium, and bright enough for me to have turned off my lights. it made ( Read more... )

is someone in the area free on thursday between 12 & 3 who could take me to the airport? pleeease?

yay! i passed my senior show. i just turn in some stuff and i'm all set. now i just have to pass painting. they even said i could probably get my stuff published if i worked out the kinks. sweetness.

and i'm hungry.

oil paint tubes are made of metal. cheap, thin metal that i believe might be coated in wax or something to soften it on the outside. this metal is weak enough to cut through with a razor blade ( Read more... )

when i found out that that "sexy back" song was a timberlake original, i asked becky what part he sings. apparently every time i'd hear that funky beat at monte's, i thought a girl was bringing sexy back. just like i thought that mr. chapman told that fast car to keep on drivin'.

for some reason, sometimes i'll have my right eye itch like nuts and there'll be nothing in it. i'm pretty obsessive about my eyes and when they itch it will bug me until they stop. the weird thing is that i'll find an eyelash in the other eye, which isn't bothering me at all. and once it's out, the itching in righty stops. it makes me think my ( Read more... )
