has anyone read the book King Leopold's Ghost? DUDE, soooooo good. get into it. it's the story of how the slave trade started, and the king behind it all that made sure the public eye saw him as philanthropic.

my mom just said sorry for everything she has caused by her actions years ago which she has always brushed over. anyone who reads my journal or knows me, knows my mom is not like most moms and fucked up the family BIG time, especially admitting she took all our family's money and assests to lavish herself leaving us with hurtful internal memories ( Read more... )
