In the new apartment, waiting for the Uverse technician to return from wherever the magical box is outside and finish my installation so I can stop mooching off someone else's Internet and also (ta da!) have cable...after a year without it. Honestly, I didn't miss it that much, but what I did miss was having my laptop available for writing and web

Ahh, semi-relaxing weekend before life goes all topsy-turvy. Bf is outta town tonight so I will be a girl on the town with some awesome work buddies. Oh...garden updates. The plants are actually growing, which is freaking awesome. I replaced the mint plant with a bigger, heartier looking one and am anticipating many mojitos. I think the cilantro has already gone to seed, but I'm hoping it will just drop those seeds and start growing again the way websites seem to indicate that it will
