I was in Woolworths at Toronto today and we were standing at the checkout and there was this stand of DVDs. At the top of the stand was a sign with a picture of some DVDs and the words: "Alan Jones Reccommends!" in big bold letters.

Wow. What a sure-fire way to make sure that half the population definitely DOESN'T buy those DVDs.

I saw one of those, but it wasn't Alan Jones, it was that guy who was a judge on Australian Idol. You know, that guy. Name escapes me. I thought he was pretty cool, everyone else in the country hated him... BAH mental blank.

Yeah, apparently he recommends stuff.

You were at Woolies- On my birthday- Where I was trapped in a kind of hell involving watermelon and satay sauce- and you didnt come rescue me!

I'm very upset. Possibly even indignant.

YOU were in Woolies?!?!?!??! Why does nobody tell me these things until it's too late??!? I hate going grocery shopping unless there're friends there for me to bother.

p.s. working in Woolies on your birthday really does suck ass. still, better than working in BiLo, I guess.
