I just looked at the Free Republic website (Why?) and they were proudly touting that McCain had closed the gap and there was only a 1 point lead by Obama.

Naturally I didn't buy that bullshit from those lying lunatics, so I checked with Reuters:

As some of you know, I live in an...interesting part of town. (I have bullet holes in my siding.)
