Some... some vital part of my emotional well-being just crawled whimpering under the kitchen table. ;__;
I could say something really intelligent but I'm waaaay too caffeinated right now to manage that so let's go with: Ouch.

I mean, the entirety of this timeline is pretty painful to read for so many different reasons, but this was just.... Ooooouch.

And this:

Russia waited. The bracelet was a cool weight on his wrist, and he imagined, let himself imagine, the wince that would show around America’s eyes when he saw it.

It would be beautiful.

I have no idea, why but there was something about this part that I like-- not in a like like kinda way... I don't know... >_>

But yea, I'm gonna go coax the sobbing remains of my soul out from under my table with the broom now....

*Soothe* D=

I liked it because (and I'm allowed to talk about liking that part because Wizard wrote it) it's sort of like...even now, making a new alliance, getting into a new relationship...he's still thinking about America. The first and last thing on his mind is what America is going to make of all of this. And oh, he hopes he's jealous...jealous people care.

(And I can tell you right now: America is very, very, very jealous. ._.)

Yea... I think that's it. Jealous people do care.
...

....

...... but jealous!America is not a fun America. Not by a long-shot XD

Another great chapter. You can just feel the tension between the two, how awkward it is for the both of them. They both really don't want to be there, but are forced to anyways.

My heart goes out to Russia as a child. That's probably the saddest thing about the whole chapter to me, I don't really know why.

I don't think Russia has a whole lot of choice about this. =/ I mean, he's gonna come home tomorrow morning, and Stalin's gonna want to know who topped.

And if it's China, then Russia's gonna be in so much trouble.

Ickiest relationship with a boss ever. ._.

AHHH GDI PYRRHIC WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT STALIN'S TREATMENT OF RUSSIA

/cries forever

See, some part of me wants to read that, just to indulge the must-make-every-last-bit-of-it-painful impulses in me. The other part just wants the comfort half of the hurt/comfort equation. :|

Speaking of which. I want to get to that part soon in TCE, k? :( Russia needs some America-style "I wouldn't know how to betray you unless you PUSHED ME OUT THE DOOR WHICH YOU KINDA DID" style lovin'.

Dude, I hear you. It's like a drug. Even when it gives you a really HORRIBLE high, and you start hallucinating black spiders crawling out of the walls, at least it's making you feel something. Goddamn masochistic ship. ._.

It is coming, we promise. =D Not even very long from now. 5 posts away?

“I’m not trying to buy you,” came the reply. “I don’t buy things I don’t want.”

Easy, boys, keep those gloves up above the belt!

Maybe it's because I grew up in farm country, but it was almost like Mao and Stalin were putting some ponies out to pasture to see if they could make a nice colt. A more elegant observation may be China and Russia as chess pieces, but still. I feel bad for them both :| As usual, I'm pretty much frothing at the mouth to see where you both go with all this.

No, dude. Totally. They ordered them to go and have sex. I don't get the feeling that happens too often. And now they're just looking at each other awkwardly, all, "So, do we just...I mean...uhm."

Kinda reminds me of that Simpsons episode where the love and passion has gone out of Marge and Homer's marriage and they're in bed together.

China: "So did you want me to...?"

Russia: "Ah. Well. If you want, but you don't really..."

China: "No, I can, I mean... If you..."

Russia: "Should I do the...?"

China: "Uh no. I mean... no."

Russia: "..."

*Hanatamago runs in out of nowhere*

China: "Oh look it's the dog!"

Russia: "Oh! Good boy!"

China: "Who's a good boy!"

Hanatamago: "Ruff!" *runs out*

China: "..."

Russia: "That was great, when the dog came in... and... everything."

China: "Oh, yeah, sure, totally."

Russia: "..."

China: "..."

Russia: "Welllllll. Nite."

China: "Good night..."

Now THIS is how I like Russia/China. Tense and crafty, with a side of douchebagery from both parties. Why don't more people write it this way?

In other news, tiny!Russia makes my teeth hurt from being so damn cute (and then breaks my heart because he can't stay that way.) Loving animals is adorable too (and somehow all I can think of now is how Laika was probably really upsetting to him. Bah.)
