I have to say, whenever I see an update, I always feel incredibly tense. Even when it's a cute chapter like this...my knowledge of history won't let me relax. It just makes me want to jump ahead to what happens next. Not cool xD

Anyway, this chapter was adorable. I love that they were open with each other, and the image of America wanting to be a bird...♥

We feel your pain. XD Pyrrhic and I are super-psyched about writing...what comes next, but we're dreading it a little, too. Watching what the boys have built up over these past years crumble into something else is going to be like a punch in the stomach for us.

AWWWWW! I seriously thought that America was gonna flip and yell at Russia. But when Russia arrived and they were comforting each other I was like OMG! SO CUTE!

Then I think when it comes time for America to have a man on the moon, that Russia will NOT be comforting...(>.<)

Russia gets to be the Good Boyfriend this time around. I like to think that afterwards, they went upstairs, and Russia made him some tea and hunted up some cookies in the pantry, and they sat in front of the fire together, just not saying anything at all. ♥

That particular line came up (in a different context, of course) in one of me and Pyrrhic's conversations months ago. I bawwed then, too.

AND GETTING INTO AMERICA'S HOUSE WITH NO HELP. ♥

HE'S HAD KEYS FOR AGES. I like to think that he did the whole Nancy Drew "let me just secretly make an imprint of your key" thing. XD

Russia and America's different...I dunno, ways of acting in this one...it was really interesting. It shows you just how young America really is, and I just thought...they were so sweet to each other in this, so very sweet. The panic and the embracing was...um, combined well?

I dunno! I just really liked this and I'm not sure how to say how I feel about it!

Oh, yeah. And, I mean, when you're young, everything has to happen now, because who knows who's catching you up, or how long this opportunity is going to be there? Russia's not like that anymore. I think patience has always been an inherent quality of his, and he finds it a little difficult to understand why America is in such a hurry about all this. But I think it shows just how far they've come that even though Russia doesn't get it, he accepts America's feelings, and comforts him anyway.

I think in this instance, that flash of crazy was merited. America believes he's watching something he's always wanted slip through his fingers. I'd be a little spazzy, too.

Thrilled you liked it, dude!
