Poor Russia and America. I feel so bad for the both of them in this chapter.

Oh God, that was so beautiful. This is what it's all about, ladies and germs. That bittersweetness. The hurt that hurts so good. Bravo, bravo... *teardrop and airpunch*

They're doing the right thing! And they're doing it because they love each other! But that doesn't take the sting out of it.

my heart just broke into a thousand tiny little pieces that now tinkle and clank against the walls of my rib cages.

And for the second time tonight (the first being a very sad book) I reach for the tissues. ;;

You guys are amazing. ♥

Oh Boys.

It had to be done. And there is hope for the future. But oh, did this hurt. It really did.

Wonderful job to the pair of you, as always.

Oh, of course there's hope. But it's a flickering, very far away hope. And that's almost worse than nothing at all.

Because then there is limbo, rather than true resolution. You are right, that is almost worse.

(and your icon is beautiful, btw)

If you ever cover it in a class, make sure to bring a box of Kleenex. You can blame your tears on allergies.

we are doing the CMC in my world history class now
thank god that we're only talking about how it affected the rest of the world this year(even though the parts with Russia make me cringe)
we're going to talk about the impact it had on America next year in our US history class
