Okay. Probably one of my favorite chapters ever, if only because I have strong a headcanon idea that America has always been obsessed with the sky and this fit it so beautifully!

And I love how normal America and England were, since I worried (needlessly, apparently) that they would be weird after the last chapter. But I guess that was pretty stupid since ya'll made it clear they were still friends. But still. I'm a worry-wart.

And then the convo with Russia was also love, because I could totally tell Russia was caught off-guard by the thank-you's and I love how America didn't make this event about the cold war at all, just an achieved dream.

So all in all this chapter was love <3

I've always wondered how you guys would do this chapter, and you did it so well. I'm glad America didn't rub this in Russia's face.

Oh, gosh, no, it never even crossed his mind! For all the suck and angst and stupid of the Cold War, I think America will always, always be grateful to Russia for giving him that push to go into the sky.

Given Russia's response to America, I think he was expecting something a little different. I love the way you handled it. X3

oh god, it hurts. why am i a business-russian double major? *headdesk*

In other news....

This wasn't as dialog heavy (or, idk, it didn't feel like dialog was the focus like in your other chapters), but, man, your control of the mood without making it hokey is just brilliant. I could actually put my hands up to my screen and feel the warmth coming through.

didn't once upon a time you tell me that wizard is a pub. author? how about yourself? do you see yourself in a published setting? because i would totally buy your books. :)

Oh, no, neither of us is published--well, only a few short stories or papers here and there. Nothing significant. We would like to be someday, though! =D If we work very hard.
