the more appropriate weather today is comforting.

i just returned from one my most favorite places, the bookstore. no, not the campus bookstore. granted, its not barnes and noble, but the wellesley booksmith will have to suffice for now. its small and cute, and has a used book basement. i happily returned with camus' exile and the kingdom and the ( Read more... )

My friend and I personally thought Shopgirl was horrible, and a waste of $9.25. Misleading trailer.

really? i havent heard much about it but it got excellent reviews from friends who saw it. you're the only person to say otherwise.

I guess what bothered me was that it was narrated by Steve Martin, and the ending was abrupt and almost cliched. My expectations had been too high.
